Perfect narration
I was getting close to draft age when the setting of this story occurred. It brought back many emotions I experienced at the time.
This author can write a story that gets you right there in the middle of the action. The narrator delivers the story flawlessly.

Not what I expected.
The anthropology was not anywhere near the level I enjoy in his southwest Native American tales.
