murders solved: by hidden back stories

These British murder mysteries!! Clever detectives, vile murderers and they are tricky to solve and I do love them so.

Fun series, but PLEASE ...

Stop using the word, "flick" or ANY variation thereof. It's a verbal tic. Can't stand it.

Once Again, Never Saw That Coming!

I love this author's books! Always a surprise ending. Always pulled in on page 1. I can't wait for his next book to be released.

I cannot bear Alice

Just like the ex-girlfriend in the Skye series, Atlas is often bitter and cold. I just don’t care for her. I truly hope Joe finds love elsewhere. Part of me thinks he thinks he loves Alice because he loves the daughter so much. Clearly, they have a loving and authentic relationship.

This series is outstanding!

I love the characters and how they interact. There is so much detail, lots of things going on but the thrills and suspense fill the pages

Character development

Unique situations, twists and turns and characters who are never as they seem! Likeable main characters! Relevant scenarios!

Very good series…

I like the series very much and the character of Tom Janessen.
The other characters are adequate— but always seem to need something “to do.” Overall, I have gotten used to the narrator— but would mind someone not as “breathy.” Every word sounds like an exhale! Still, the series is very well written and keeps one engaged in the Hidden Norfolk series. . Looking forward to the next one, as well as what’s next in store in the Dark Yorkshire series.

Dagleash did it again.

As usual, two very different crimes. Almost, his girlfriend arrested, except for the Detecive's, superb, Sherlock-like mental skills. Also when after many twists and turns, he gets the suspects where he can interrogate them. His skills maneuver them invariably into a corner of no return. I will definitely be continuing this series to the end which I hope is not for quite some time.. Also. the Narrator, Craig Pattamor is very, very good as always.

Great plot, believable.
Good characterization, too.
Excellent drawing-out of timing towards the dénouement.
I really enjoyed this one - total contrast with the 5th in the series !
