Excellent!
Dick Francis takes his British hero (a private investigator who foils kidnappers) to Italy and America. The narrator does a nice job distinguishing the various characters.

Good but disturbing
I'm a Dick Francis fan and while I thought this was a well crafted novel, as always, it was such a dark theme that I had to give it three stars. The terror of kidnapping hit too close to home for me, a mother of five children. It's a mother's greatest fear.

Always a full story
