Sound quality must have been fixed
Love Dick Francis and most of Felix Francis. I thought sound quality just fine. So glad I ignored reviews to the contrary. It was amazing to listen to DF book I hadn’t heard before. Good reader, good story!

Terrible audio, great story
Narrator was evidently at a zoo, a busy airport, a garden full of birds…all those background sounds were present in all the audio. Good narration and fabulous story, surprising that Audio books would allow the poor quality.

Great story…not so great audio quality!
The story was great, and so was the narration. But the recording sounded like it was coming off a tape recorder 40 years ago! I’d still listen to it again, but was surprised at the poor sound quality.

Veterinarians, horses mysteriously dying!
A new avenue for Dick Francis…the main character is a man from the Foreign Office who helps a couple who were mugged. This takes them to England and meeting the vets. A mystery from the past gets inexplicably intertwined with the mystery in the present—the inexplicable dying of horses at the vets hospital.

Come Back
As usual Mr. Francis creates a beautiful wave form with his European English. It causes me to slow my mind and open up to a new pool of reference. While he has past on… he continues to touch my soul. Thank for the entanglement.

Like the story, but sound was weird
The recording sounded like it was phoned in on many different phones with terrible connections. At one point, it sounded like the narrator was recording in an office with others talking in the background. Not sure if my download was just bad or what. It wasn’t so awful that I couldn’t listen, but very distracting.

I’m glad I listened, but the sound/recording was terrible.
Great Dick, Francis story. But terrible recording sound quality with garbled sound, and volume fluctuations
