Another a great SIM Book

This series manages to stay fresh as Emily continues her steady development as a sorceress. And she slowly changed her new world for the better.

With each book it just gets better

I find myself getting lost each book and I've listened to the book series more than 4 times and It never gets old.

Man! What an ending!

No spoilers here, but the ending of this book leaves me hungry for the next one. Can’t wait for it to be released.

Jaw Dropping Ending

I loved this series. I hope to read and listen to more stories of Emily in the future.

I was surprised to find a few parts of the book that were surprises.

I like how Nuttall is able to describe a scene and make you wonder what might have caused it and leave you hanging for a bit so you can think of many possibilities and then let you know what happened.

Another great listen!

After binging on the entire series during work, I had to wait for this one to come out! So excited for another wonderful addition to this series. I can’t wait to hear what happens next. Written very well. Flowed smoothly with the storyline. Made my days go by faster 😊

i really enjoyed this story

Our favorite sorceress has really come into her own, and demonstrates the power to survive war and trickery with little rest and forces arrayed against her. i love strong female lead characters, and this series has been cultivating one for 16 books.

admittedly however, if the next book centers around solving the last problem identified in this book... well ill have to skip it.... which is really annoying because these books are already to far apart. i just find THAT particular plotline tired... and as common as white undies. hopefully it is fixed quickly, and most of the next boom actually progresses into some of the foreshadowing from previous books... such as training witb Void, dealing with White Council, starting the school, hunting other Necros, etc.

oh... and folks say CN is sick... so if that is still true... get better fast! Not only because being sick is no good :(, but you have to hurry up and make next book for me :D

The Saga Continues

When you invest your time and money into these stories, books-audio books; you can only hope for the best. I have enjoyed this entire series. I love when characters rise and fall. When they show humanity and defy the odds. There are portions of the story that are slower, but needed. Every other page can't be how powerful Emily is and how she fights. I want to know; will she fall in love? Will she see Void and the other supporting characters again, and when? This story is leading you somewhere and at the same time closing the loop on situations from other books.
I want to find out what happens next.

Love these books (possible spoilers)

I love these books. These last two I love extra. I’m so here for the Cat/Emily romance and hope they make it and that he doesn’t act a fool after the end of this. I also hope void helps her get her powers back quickly. These cliffhangers man... they kill me. I bite my nails until the next one releases. Thank goodness Chris writes so fast haha. Keep up the good work sir!

I love this series. There were a couple books in the middle that felt a bit slow but this one was fantastic and I couldn’t stop listening
