One of the best in this series

The story held my attention from start to finish. One on the best books in this series. Warning, it does end in a cliff hanger.

The story comes together. can't wait for the next book. Don't want to give any spoilers, but if you read this far you should have been ready for this. 😅

Classic schooled in magic

The book had a lot of mystery and intrigue, and was a nice break from the last couple of books where it just felt like fight after fight, good book unsuspecting villain. Great groundwork for the Nextbook, thanks for not ending on a cliffhanger. I can't see why anyone would end on a cliffhanger when you're 20 book deep ;)

This is based the combination of the whole book series and basically who's behind what and who is the set up for the final books in the series It's pretty good getting better

I hate you. how could you. you know what you did. that's all I can say. we have to read it at this point, we have no choice, but I hate you.😭

Great plotting / world building, though a bit sour

I have very much enjoyed the entire series. I liked the school years the most. In this book, I preferred the first third. The plot was quite good. The overall world building has been terrific, though I would hate to live with so many obnoxious people. The author is a prolific and talented writer. I do wish he would stop using the word "sour" and "sourly" so very much to describe Emily's thoughts and expressions. It appears all too frequently and I picture her making a face whenever I think of her.

Loved book 22

I am hoping book 23 and 24 will have audio versions. Emily’s adventures have been really enjoyable. I really loved this series and the voice actor is amazing!

What a plot twist I wasn't expecting and never would have dreamed it to be that person pulling all the strings.

WAY better than the last book

I hated Little Witches, it was my least favorite of the series, Emily just wasn’t the same character in that book compared to all the others. So this felt like the author got back on track with the story instead
Of that awful weird storyline that changed the character we grew to love into someone without the backbone/opinions she had in every other book.
