Must listen

I did immersive reading for this book since audio released yesterday. I picked up this book thinking it was a lighthearted rom com. And it is so much more!!! It made me feel a wide range of emotions that I wasn't expecting and it was a pleasant surprise. Oh and the spice! Very well done. It is beautifully written and brought to life spectacularly by Rachel Dane & E Montoya. And the way they where able to have different voices for different characters was incredible. I will be recommending this to everyone. Slow burn, workplace rivals to lovers.

Outstanding!

I already loved the story but Rachel Dane and E. Montoya brought all those beautiful characters to life and the right choice! This is my first time hearing E. Montoya, his was voice was enjoyable and sexy as Nolan, fun when doing Jeremy and typical sleazy for Jackson. Rachel, oh Rachel… I am so proud for your growth. I can hear it with each next book you narrate. Rachel knows emotion and emphasizes that with each character and the brings it all forward to make the listener feel it all. I cried with each crack in her voice, the tight pained whisper and laughed with the friends. The accents are fun, the nasal voices make me laugh and she has one voice I still think sounds like a Hollywood actress.

Absolutely Amazing!

This story was amazing! It was hilarious, sad, heartfelt, and just so beautifully written! The voice actors did such an amazing job bringing this story to life!

Fate at its finest!

I absolutely loved this sweet book. SOO FUNNY!! The friendships! I had to re-listen a few times because I wanted to hear it again. So hilarious and so so sweet! The love! Could not stop swooning over NOLAN. Bless sweet Rorie. I love them. AND THAT EPILOGUE! OH MY GOSH!!! I would have never got to enjoy this if it weren’t for me being a big fan of Rachel Dane! thankful for TikTok leading me to her and now Cedar James books.

Wow😍

This book was such a fun time! I was laughing and the tension was amazing. The topic of loss of parents and grief hit so close to home that this was such a cathartic read for me. It had me in my feels in the best way. Such an incredible story and the invisible string theory was sooooo real for these MCs. 😍

Text me, Never is a masterpiece

The story line, the characters, the performance by the narrators…. Are all 10 stars. The way they bring the characters and story to life is amazing. The banter and the tension have you pulled in from the first chapter, you would never guess that this is the authors very first debut novel. She writes like she’s been doing it for years. I cannot wait to see what else this author has in store for us! Definitely recommend!

Such a fun read!

I loved this book and the narrators really brought the characters to life! Such a fun story that’s also heartfelt and touching! Where can I find an assistant like Tammy and a friend like Jeremy?!

Fantastic narration!

I read this book when it first came out and I couldn’t wait for the audio—which did not disappoint! Rachel Dane and E. Montoya absolutely nailed these voices, and not just the MCs all the side characters. Jeremy—frkn HILARIOUS!

I loved this book when I first read it and the audio just made it that much better. I laughed so hard through the majority of it but even the emotional parts hit home. And the spicy scenes were 😮‍💨🤌🏻

Great audio version and highly recommend!

The banter!!

I loved this book! The story, the main characters, the supporting characters, the banter, the humor, the love. The interactions between the MMC and FMC over text and in person were so enjoyable. I liked the self awareness of the Nolan and Rorie, and how they owned their mistakes and accepted accountability. I’m so glad they got their HEA.

Rachel Dane and E. Montoya did an incredible job bringing the story to life! They were well-paced, expressive, and engaging. Outstanding!!

This is my favorite audiobook of the year so far! I absolutely loved this story and the audiobook performances elevated what was already so incredible.

Rorie is so so strong and Nolan, oh sweet Nolan.
And Jeremy! LOVE HIM! The perfect best friend.

Praying the next book is Maya and well... I don't want to spoil it but if you know, you know!!

I laughed and even shed a few tears in the very beginning and the end. You can tell that this author poured her heart into this story. As someone who met their husband via digital meet-cute, so much about this story resonated with me. The tension, the build up, the climax! ;) A SOLID 5 stars and a few chili peppers too. Ayoooo!

I cannot wait to read more from this author in the future!
