great story, but....

great story! however, a few inaccuracies... 1) no gun registration in Texas, 2) license is required for open and concealed handgun carry in Texas, 3) 45 caliber is not very popular with the ladies, not common in double action revolvers, and less likely for a lady to use a single action revolver, 4) handgun stance in cover photo would not be used by someone with handgun experience or by a law enforcement officer, 5) Cook outs is not a common phrase used in Texas

Great Book

I found myself not wanting to put it down it kept my interest the the entire time this genre is not my norm I got this out on a wim and It was worth and I'm definitely willing to try another book by the author and narrator

great story

it took a long time to figure out who the killer was and right until the climax I wasn't positive I was completely correct that's always the sign of a good book.

Get this onto the big screen!!

Great story!!! I would love to see a cast with Sam Elliott, Jesse James Decker, Danny Mattheson and others! Get the rock to play Rip!

Very predictable

Felt like I was watching an old Chuck Norris weekly drama. Expected more. It was kinda corny compared to other Patterson stories.
