Audio glitches

Although I really enjoyed the story, there were three places where the audio malfunctioned. Near the beginning, near chapter 33ish and during the last couple of minutes.
It didn’t ruin the book but I thought it was worth mentioning

Enjoyed the story very much but the audio skipped various times. First time that has happened.

Music in the Background

The narrators are fine and the story is fine but who decided there should be music playing in the background?!! This is awful and takes away from getting into the story. Try sound effects but there is no need for music to play in the background while the narrator reads. This is making the experience horrible for me. I am pushing through b/c the story is good. I sure hope the rest of the books don't have music playing in the background.

Jack’s character

I liked how Jack spoke to Mike (like sleazy , cool, sharp guy) and how he was always three steps ahead of Mike to confuse him

a great book. it was intriguing, heartbreaking and spell binding.i can't wait to read another book about detective Bennett

This was the mist captivating book I have listened to in a very long time. An emotional rollercoaster.
