It’s wintertime in New York, and for the first time since Irish immigrant Molly Murphy started her early-twentieth-century detective agency, she is completely snowed in with work. I am very much enjoying Molly series. I have never been a big fixing fan but Molly has won me over.

Another Fun Adventure

At this point (Book 7) if you like the series you’ll keep going, and if you don’t like the series you would not have gotten this far.

I love the series and can’t wait to keep going; Molly is one of my favourite characters.

The only reason I can’t go all the way and give the book (series) 5 stars is because the lucky coincidences are a little too lucky, and the constant pondering and mental rehashing is sometimes irritating – but that’s it; the series is otherwise terrific!

Can’t wait to see what she gets up to in Book 8! I’m diving in right away!

Stories are great!

I agree the stories in the series are quite good. The narration of Molly's voice is pleasing. The other characters could use some polishing. The females either sound rough or ditzy. Daniel sounds rude and mean most of the time, and much imagination must be used to picture the written lines. Bowen could not have meant him to be so abrasive, or Molly would not be attracted to a guy with such a temperament. I hope Bowen improves with practice.

Fabulous

Another great addition to this series. I am awed by this author’s imagination.

Molly has several cases going on at the same time and Daniel helps her a little. A mysterious girl is found in the snow who does not speak and her saga intertwined with a couple of other cases. Yes I know really convenient but this is fiction and I love it!

On to the next!

Just love this series!

Rhys Bowen keeps coming up with interesting plots, and narrator Nicola Barber is one great narrator!
