It’s getting better!

I personally think that the story has improved by leaps and bounds in each volume and this was the best one, yet.

Great addition to the series.

Fun series and we get a few new charaters. Crazy sheep girl joins along with some slimes that don't take no for an answer.

Narration and editing is poor to moderate at best

Very difficult to distinguish between different speakers and the thoughts and speech of the MC. I don’t know if it’s a translation issue or a narration issue but between different pronunciations and phrases used some sections take multiple rewinds to make sense and even then it sometimes still doesn’t. It also feels like the editing was mediocre at best with the clear breaks between recorded lines in a monologue, inconsistent volume levels, and lines that sound like they had bits clipped off the end amongst other things.

Interesting twist to the story’s direction…

I mean when you are that important to the overall war effort this kind of plot is sort of expected. What I did not expect was the development of the new plots. Good unexpected changes. This book felt shorter to me. Didn’t look it up to see if I was right.

I think you’re talking about le- srry don’t want to get sued that’s all you get but I think you get it

they keep saying no casualties only a few injured .. like casualtie means death or injuries

amazing store started it on Spotify and ran out of time so had to get audible to finish the series 3 books down

Was this partially read by an AI?

I love this series and the man reading does a great job, but I have to wonder if part of the reading is done by an AI using his voice. I suspect this due to how certain words are pronounced throughout the story. For example:

cutely is spoken in this as cute-e-ly by the reader.

heresy was spoken as hearsay, which is a common mistake done by AI voice over.

It gets better with each book!

This book is where the current manga chapters have caught up to. I can’t wait to see what happens next! HURRY BOOK 4! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 and just know that having Kousuke whine and complain about the slime girls stealing from the enemy just adds 10 points to his wimp factor which is already quite high.. 🤦🏻‍♂️

another great extension

found the manga on a whim Reddit enjoyed it. found out I had audible as a result of having prime have now listened to three volumes. third volume goes further than where the mangas do, but either way it's well worth the listen. decent story
