I was unhappy with the portrayal of the handicapped person especially with the unlikely ending

This is my second read through the entire series start to finish. They are just as thrilling as the first time around!

Still Life comments

The Agent Pendergast novel does not disappoint and follows the same storyline build as previous book. Cory Swanson is an interesting character and outside the normal law enforcement characters. I was not a fan of the end of the novel and reference of the fairy tales, but that may just be me. I found the whisper sync music more distracting than helpful to the story.

Slow

All Preston and Child Books are good. To me they have an excessive amount of superfluous detail and it would be nice if they were about 2/3 as long. Still I can’t stop listening to them at 1.25 or hidgher

On the edge.

It kept me on the edge of my seat! Just when you think it's going to settle down, it hits you again!

One of the better Pendergast novels

Love this story. Shows the human side of Pendergast at the end. One of the better written and full story in one book novels.

Captivating book

Once I started listening I was not able to stop. I am amazed at the writers imagination and craft. They managed to create another captivating story. Highly recommended!

Great book!

Love the Pendergast character, he is so quirky! These books are very entertaining, on to the next one!

For Pendergast fans

If you love the Pendergast series, this one doesn’t disappoint.
I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra on the book track, the background sounds are not necessarily adding to the book content.
