Not quite as good as the first two, but I'm still looking forward to the next one!

This one was disappointing and a bit of a chore to get thru. The trend of authors forcibly separating a romantic couple for the majority of the third/fourth book in a series is getting old. I've only seen it done successfully maybe one time, and this was not it. Add to that the lack of new character/relationship development, some seemingly out of character behavior by the FMC/MMC, and a lot of repetitive inner dialog... yeah, a chore. That said, the last ten minutes made me really excited for the next one. Let's hope it's as good as the first two!

That ending….🫣

I enjoyed this book for the most part. There were a few parts I felt were a little slow, but overall an interesting story. Will I continue the series…absolutely! That ending has me needing book 4 tomorrow!

This has become a Godkissed Series! My first 5 STARs!!! Book 1- Hooked me, Book 2- Ruined me (in the BEST ways 😭) and Book 3- Ignited me! This book had me in a Chokehold All the Way through. Basten’s MOUTH and sarcasm are my Fave!

It captivated me from the very beginning and never stopped the entire way through. This writer has a lovely way of interlacing the past books to give context without it feeling too repetitive. There were so many moments in my mind where I was like ‘well, why can’t he just do this or why can’t she do this’ and then voilà! They would do them!!! SO satisfying! I felt like the writer was in my mind! So fun and twisty-turny & Terrific banter!

Sabine is about to go CRAY on the next one… I don’t know how I’ll wait for book 4 to be finished but I’ll wait this lifetime through the next! IYKYK

PS- These audio actors were Perfection!!!

That’s how it ends!!!

I need the next book now! That ending was unbelievable! I need to know what happens next, excellent continuation of the series!

Disappointed

I am disappointed by this third installment. The story is pretty stupid. While there’s new characters they are not interesting or engaging. Also the situations Sabine and Basten get into are sometimes their own fault. Not the best book.

Criminal cliff hanger

I’m so mad at you, it was perfect. This was such a fun book. It did have a few turns that surprised me. I enjoyed the intro of new shadow Daddy’s. I loved that we had heel turns. There is good pacing, I was never bored and devours this book.

just keeps getting better

a series more than 3 books rarely holds my interest but OMG this one has left me dying for more!! I'm loving this series, these characters, their world and the trials they go through. I can't wait for the next one!!

This story deserves more hype!

One of the most underrated romantasy series ever! The dark “snow white” retelling is so good! Loved this book and can’t wait for the next one! The narrators voices are perfect for the characters especially Bastins!

So hooked on this series

Cannot wait for more! I know that this is leading to something amazing after the end of this book. Keep them coming! So juicy, vivid, and story is amazing.

What happened? It’s like a different writer took over. Not good.

The story was choppy. Things just happen, no build up, no reason. And the night hunt? That was just stupid. She is going to kill her true love so he won’t be killed? WTF?
