Why do all writers make the MC so stupid. Not every MC needs to have a side character second guessing every decision, taking control, and making the MC bow to them constantly. SIMP should be the MC’s name.

Sometimes you see a review that the MC is dumb, and often it’s ok. But wow this MC is dumb. And when he isnt something or someone tries to have sex with him. I had higher expectations
