Wow! At the Age of 73 years old I can Speed Read
I love this book. I have been a slow reader all my life. This book has help me to improve my compression dramatically. You'll be amazed on how easy you can improve your reading skills.

Not Very Insightful
So apparently if you want to be a proficient speed reader you have to spend a considerable amount of time doing prep work. That seems very counterintuitive, trying to save time reading by doing a bunch of pre-reading. This was my introduction into the world of speed reading and right now I'm not very impressed. I'm gonna try one more book on the subject and if it's not any better than this one then I'm just going stick to the old tried and true method of sub-vocalization. Maybe you'll have better luck with this book then I did.
