First in series

Good baseline, some use of phrases were too much - but the narrator gave it no favors. Looking forward to next in series!

One endless cliffhanger

One dimensional and zero character depth. Has some page turning premise
Vague word choices and no development of actual plot

poor narration

I could not finish this book. The narration was monotone which made it very hard to follow the storyline.

slow, dry, and suddenly eventful

This was a rough listen. Final chapters were eventful. Im not sure I will get next book.

Forgettable

There was 0 character development. Probably because the author kills off almost all of the characters they introduced. the onces that remains you only know what type of person he is because the narrator tells you. Hint it's not even the protagonist
