The descriptive details, fascinating storyline and imaginative elements.

I liked the character development and unique expressions of magic by the main magical characters and magistrates. However, I did not understand how the characters knew they had magic to begin with and how they took control of it. Plus, it seemed the more experienced, powerful characters became weakened and imbalanced too easily. Perhaps, with more experience when in battles, etc., in future books in this series, The magic users will learn how to balance their powers amongst each other so that theirpower will last longer over all and their use of it becomes less short lived.

This is one of the good authors. I would highly recommend anyone pick up this series from start to finish. I was really shocked at how good the story and characters were.

Really dull tbh. The ideas aren’t bad but the presentation lacks any feeling of excitement or suspense even in situations where you expect to feel suspense. I also had a hard time caring about the heroes and the villain seemed to have no motivation aside from base tyranny and domination.
