Love it!

This was a great story, and one heck of a deal for a single credit. 9/10, highly recommend.

An entertaining adventure

I enjoyed the world building done throughout the series. It makes it seem like a living world. The adventure is fun with humorous undertones. It was very enjoyable. The one thing I didn’t like was all of the cursing. Anymore than a little is too much for my taste. Don’t let that stop you from trying it out though.

Good story

This was a really cool story. Brad Derry did a wonderful job performing, and an extra star for it being an omnibus. 6/5 enjoyment

Really good first lit RPG series

I really enjoyed this series in the mechanics of this world. As the author admits, it was a little bumpy at times I’m glad to see some of the feedback as he was writing the other books. Overall, the series is great and I really enjoyed listening to it. I can’t wait to see what his next series is.

Not my style

I think this book is aimed at people who want erotic fantasy.

I'm more of a fan of adventure fantasy.

Every character is a PoS.

As the title says, I got 12 hours in (start of book 2), and not a single decent person with anything resembling moral standards, not a single ounce of common sense, common decency, or critical thinking skills.

Oh, I'm immediately captured and sold into slavery? "I don't really mind, I guess." Oh, this racist harem constantly calls me racial slurs and tells me I'm worthless? "They're decent enough people." Oh, I spent literal eons in purgatory? "Gods, I can't stand being bored for three days in order to survive." Oh, my girlfriend is sent to prison for something I know she didn't do? "Better play along so I don't rock the boat."

I did literal damage to my teeth from grinding them together trying to power through this series. I just do NOT have the patience to listen to 2D characters whose only thoughts amount to "I better think/do/say/feel whatever the plot dictates with zero conflicts, despite it going against every logical, emotional, and common sense instinct any real human would have. derp."
