Love the story

I could not stop listening to it. Even though I had seen the anime allready. I can‘t wait for the next book.

The Pigs! The Pigs!

This is a cute story but this first book is a little hard to handle because our sweet, shy, little Monica gets steamrolled quite a bit.

I think I actually prefer the anime adaptation over this written form, believe it or not, and I'm not sure listening to this adds much to the story if you have already seen it. I think maybe there is more insight into the Second Prince, but other than that I almost felt (weirdly enough) that the anime had better pacing to it and more charm.

The narrator has a suitable voice but isn't great. She does well when voicing characters but her narration has pauses after every few words and she also reads very slowly. Listening at 1.2X helped a lot and I soon got used to it, though.

Cute Protag

Came from watching the anime and can't say I'm upset. Initially, I'd ordered the books for myself, but the audiobook ended up releasing before I ever got them (I've been waiting 3 months), so here I am. The story is great and, as the title suggests, the protagonist is cute. The reader's performance wasn't bad either, with there only being very miniscule things here and there that I'd hardly noticed. All-in-all, as the second review and first written review on here, I highly recommend this book.

If you liked the anime you'll love this!

The performance is wonderful. As someone who watched the anime (and couldn't get enough Monica), I was familiar with the world and had ideas in my head of what the characters looked and sounded like. Getting the opportunity to revisit this world from the beginning again was a treat and I can't wait for vol. 2 to be released!
