That was so good

All lose ends were tied up and there was adventure with familiar and new characters. I love that it's the same narrator as with the first book. It didn't even feel like listening to a sequel, it felt like listening to a continuation.

This made everything about Gone With the Wind make sense. It gave Scarlett a chance to be human.

I really enjoyed this story although not enough Rhett but the wait for him was so worth it

Scarlet the sequel

You know I don't cry very often but this book made me cry when the English and Irish were fighting and the priest died. So very sad, the fighting. The book as a whole was a great follow up to the original. I recommend this book if you read or listened to the first classic book.

I read the book and wanted to hear it again.

A wonderful sequel from a book by another author! I loved Gone With the Wind as a young girl and I would never learn more about Scarlett’s life without Rhett. Thank you Alexandra Ripley for writing this book with all it’s twists and turns. I would recommend it to all of my friends!

Excellent Homage

It is really incredible how well this homage to the original characters is written and performed. the writer gave much thought to the further development of each character and to the storyline. I feel grateful that I decided to take a chance on this story. it was well worth it!
