Meet Noah - an A-honor-roll student, award-winning swimmer, and small-town star destined for greatness. There weren't any signs that something was wrong until the day he confesses to molesting little girls during swim-team practice. He's sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile sexual-rehabilitation center.

His mother, Adrianne, refuses to turn her back on him despite his horrific crimes, but her husband won't allow Noah back into their home. In a series of shocking and shattering revelations, Adrianne is forced to make the hardest decision of her life. Just how far will she go to protect her son?

Saving Noah challenges everything you think you know about teenage sexual offenders. It will keep you up at night long after you've finished, questioning beliefs you once thought were true.

I never read a book as enticing as this!
I never thought of pediophiles as innocent people, born into their situation……much like homosexuals are! The main character was a decent, , loving young boy who was successful at everything he did…..Until he was put into a situation, when asked to coach a swim team of little girls. (at age 15).
The little girls decided to “play doctor” with him. He was mortified when he found out , to his dismay, that he was attracted to the little girls. He shut down internally, finally telling his parents, who thought they could rectify the situation by talking to the little girls parents. However, the little girls parents didn’t see things that way and had the boy arrested. The boy was put in a home for sex offenders, and registered as a sex offender….from then on, all he wanted to do was die. I won’t give the ending away, but let me say this was a book I read in one sitting!

Unique story!

📚Honest Review📚

This is by far one the toughest books I’ve ever read. Once more, Dr. Lucinda Berry delivered a jewel worth to be read and re read.

One of the most uncomfortable topics to deal with is child abuse and pedophilia, no questions ask.

In this novel you will find Noah’s story a straight A teenager, amazing son, friend and outstanding member of his community.

The author created Noah so well that provided him with a very unique and distinctive family: a loving mother beyond any felony committed, a seven year old little sister who adores him and worships the floor he walks on and a father who turns his back on him the moment everything comes to light.

This is the first book I’ve read where the story is told from the mother’s POV and I truly believe that this is what makes the story even more heartbreaking.

There’s so much we ignore about the mind of a pedophile, there’s so much we ignore about so many topics related to specific human conditions!

I will not lie to the reader and state that I was not able even for a second to feel Noah’s pain.

This heinous crimes are unforgivable and yet here @lucindaberryauthor once more takes the reader to unknown territory.

I strongly recommend this book, however if this topic touches you very close and personal remember you can always stop ✋🏻 and reflect upon your own personal experiences.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 OUTSTANDING!📚

One of the toughest books I’ve ever read…

this was my first Lucinda Berry book and I want more cause this made me question my morals. I was angry but understood the mother's anguish. Noah deserved no pity but still got it and the twist at the end made me feel so much anger. This book will haunt me for a while. The narrator in my opinion was annoying and took away from my experience. I definitely would recommend but be warned of the triggers *rape, molestation, and suicide*

Hard to sort out my feelings

Good listen not sure if it’s worth a credit. At points it drags but overall a good book.

I hadn’t read anything about the story and wasn’t prepared for the topic however, I really thought it was well written and thoughtfully created. As a mother, I cannot imagine being faced with such a cruel fate. I can imagine loving my child as she did- no matter what.

Tough topic

As a man, it's hard to feel the maternal feelings the mother was having for Noah. I understand her thinking but I don't agree with it. Lucas is the hero of the book, wish more attention was paid to him. Decent book, finished in 2 days. Narrator able to change voice enough to always be able to tell when a new character is talking.

The mom suuuucks

This story is so freaking sad. Having been molested as a child I never thought I could feel bad for a molester. But I did. Knowing that you’re a pedophile and even with treatment knowing it would be part of you forever breaks my heart.

Mind blown

The overall story was intriguing and informative, at moments there was confusion with the characters read.

Heartbreaking!

Heavy, but interesting book…however, the narrator sounds disingenuous. She didn’t do the story justice. This novel needed someone like Julia Whelan to give the characters more depth.

Terrible narration

… NO other way to describe this story. Without giving storyline away it’s difficult to describe the particulars, but trust every one of the reviews that say it’s heartbreaking and unimaginable. Your heart is screaming NO the entire book and by the end it’s saying … I understand.

Absolutely shattered…
