Story about loss and recovery

Loved it! She is one of my favorite authors and tackles some really tough topics based on her experience. She has a “real” quality to her stories.

More of a drama then a psych thriller

This book is a soap opera not a thriller. I wish I knew that going into it bc it’s emotional and not what I was looking for.

Hard subject material but good story

I enjoyed this book, I love Lucinda Berry and this was good but tough subject material and tough story. It wasn’t what I thought either, for some reason I thought her mental breakdown caused her to think things happened that didn’t, but it wasn’t. I guess I’m a less forgiving person than most bc I would never forgive Robin, her best friend, or the husband. She didn’t cheat on him. Her best friend continually choosing her friends husband over her, even before she left, is weird behavior and I saw the ending from a mile away. F them! I was so mad I could have thrown my phone. I don’t know how I felt about her not feeling a connection to her daughter and when she said she would choose her husband over her child, ewww, I couldn’t imagine. I guess it makes sense when you know why she feels that way but I could never so it was hard to understand. I’m glad there was a happy ending for all in a sense that they found happiness but it’s not the happy ending I had hoped. Good book, good writing, tough subject.

The husband made me very angry. He was horrible.

This was a very good story but I didnt like how the wife never seemed to get how wrong and horrible the husband was. Not a good person, very petty and he cant be that much of a good parent when ge was such an asshole so quickly to a woman he was married to for 10 years.
