I think this story and the characters will be a strong memory for a long time.

Another great book in this series. Its a story of a new heart, a new life, and a new lover. I was touched.

What a performance!

I've decided that Michael Pauley can just whisper the word "ok" in my ear any day of the week forever!
He brought Ash and Aiden to life in a perfect way. This is such a sweet, sad, beautiful, crushing, love story and Michael couldn't have done a better job.

Cheesy cliché plot ruined it 😔

This book had me absolutely hooked with fantastic character development, swoon-worthy romance, without a trace of insta-lust to ruin it. But then the freaking PLOT ruined it! And what sucks was at that point I was invested in the darn thing and it was so disappointing. Why? Why must authors ruin perfectly enjoyable books with this sort of b.s. drama? Ugh.

Amazing!

When I read this book the emotions that it drew from me were surprising as I'm not one to cry when I read a book. Listening to this book was heartbreaking. I had to stop it at some points because it became too much at the moment, but it is totally worth it!

Aiden and Ash

Two people mired in loneliness, guilt and for one, a crippling lack of self confidence, fight their way through to happiness. I read this book some time ago and enjoyed it. Lucy Lennox and Sloane Kennedy are a great writing team. When I saw that this book was out on audible, it was a quick click decision. Michael Pauley is an excellent narrator bringing depth and emotion to the written word. Well worth your time and a credit.

this is amazing

i loved listening to the audio as much as i loved reading the story.. Aiden Vale has everything in this world but happiness. He runs into a smart Sexy but shy man Ash Valentine... Ash is running hard from his past where all he knew was anger an pain.. Instead Aiden shows him how love can be protective an safe. Just as the worlds collide Ash's past catches up with him can he safe Ash in time. Can they last forever.

Had me screaming in traffic, and not at the cars.

This is a very intense read. You immediately feel for the characters and their struggles. This, more than any book I’ve listened to in a while, made me desperate for a happy ending, and boy, was I not disappointed!

awesome read

WTS, I find the storyline exactly the same as book one. Fixing to read book three. The Doctor has my curiosity his past demons he's fighting I'm sure he'll find love in the end and they'll be all one big happy family..
