Emotional

Dean's voice just brings right in for the story. I practically cried through the whole book; tears of sorrow and tears of joy. As always loved Sloan's awesome book!

Incredible!

I’m in the process of reading this series and not in order and I’m just completely in love with it. These characters feel so real. I love Remy as Luca. I can’t freaking wait to read or listen to more of Solane Kennedy’s work. Girl! You are becoming one of my favorite authors. ❤️❤️❤️

Superbly done!

This is just a fantastic beginning to the series! I love that the struggle that Remy encountered is in here and the struggles he continues to have. It sets a realistic side to the issue. I love the storyline and can’t wait for the next one in the series.

I just luv sloan Kennedys books. compelling plot lines, great character development, and happy endings. my only complaint is that I cant stand her choice for narrator in the protector books...I tried but he is like nails on a chalkboard. aiden snow is the type of narrator the baretti men need.

Grabs Your Attention From Beginning to End!

I listened to this book in one sitting, I couldn’t stop! Exciting, interesting, sad at times, with a lot of heart. Highly recommend!

Now that I’ve finished the Protector Series, I’m into this series. I absolutely love Luca’s and Remy’s characters. And, of course the integration of the families from the Protector series. So love it!!!

AMAZING!!!!!

An incredibly beautiful journey filled with regret, forgiveness, hurdles, and lots of love for Luca and Remy. A true roller coaster of emotions like only Sloane Kennedy can write. Shattered my heart and then put it back together piece by piece. Luca and Remy have both been through so much and it's really incredible that they can find a way to deal with their pasts in order to build an incredible future together. I really hope to see them in future books just like we see so many characters from past books, which I love, and I really hope to see a future book for Gio! Michael Pauley is an absolute genius when it comes to delivering these stories. He really has a way of really expressing everything that the characters are going through and it just makes the story an even better experience.

Beyond phenomenal!

Oh my God! What a phenomenal story! I cried so much! Sloane is extraordinary! This is not a book for the fainted at heart! It’s an incredible and very emotional roller coaster! Once started I couldn’t put it down! What the characters are going thru is heartbreaking and unimaginable! The struggle, the pain, the desperation are so intense I felt my heart with jumó out oh my chest! Wow! Just wow! The audiobook is exquisite because Michael Dean is the absolute best! Thank you Sloane and Michael for opening my eyes even more about how cruel the world we live in is and sadly will continue to be!

This story is heart breaking and amazing. I found the story hard to put down and would find things to do just so I could finish it.
