So Good

I should have expected nothing less from Lucy. It was funny, cute, romantic and interesting.

It was a cute frenemies to lovers book, and a growing up book for one of the characters. Both characters learn what they really want in life, and that first impressions aren't always what they seem.

This book was well done. The narrator was good and the characters came to life. This Author does well with her stories

Sweet funny story ❤️

This book is funny and super cute. Nine is a sweetheart and such a genuinely kind person. Cooper is awesome too, he's got baggage that seems to make him more dramatic but he's adorable with Nine. This story is an emotional roller-coaster and a rom-com. I had a lot of fun listening to it.

I've never giggled & guffawed at the efforts of Ms. Lennox before. "Nine" evoked such fond feelings for the relatable folks we come to love & appreciate! Sweet & sexy, a humorous journey as we're introduced to the ensemble of characters who are as nutty as real life! Nine is a total joy, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading, before treating myself to the talents of Michael Dean's superb narration!

As per usual, his beautiful husky voice was spot on! How he crafts the unique personas is truly a great gift for us all. Yet another book you can enjoy over & over again. If you don't find persons with whom to relate in this charming story..., you may want to take up knitting!

Lennox & Dean are my absolute favorite power couple! Thank you!!

Amazing book! Fantastic Narration!

This book was fabulous! Michael Dean is one of my favorite narrators and I think he did a fabulous job with this book! I loved his voices for Nine and Coop, and I listen to this one often!

Coop and Nine were both incredibly interesting characters in such extremely different ways. Nine is the dependable one that everyone knows they can count on without ever really thinking about what Nine needs. In fact his name is Issac and his family calls him Nine because he’s the 9th out of 10 kids. He feels like he’s nothing special and no one would really notice if he was gone.

Cooper on the other hand is Nine’s brother Eli’s best friend. When an opportunity comes up that will work in favor of both men, they start a fake relationship as they traipse out to the middle of nowhere to renovate a cabin and film it. Each of the men have strengths and weaknesses and they slowly begin to fall for each other. Throw in some family drama and a slight hero complex and you’ve got yourself a fresh take on some of my absolute favorite tropes!

Age gap, best friend’s brother, fake relationship, opposites attract and bisexual awakening (or whatever he decides to label himself with) all thrown together in a hilarious and super cute story that also has some anxiety and heart hurting moments. I absolutely adored this book and would definitely read more of these boys or a full story for Jacks and Marchie!!
