LOVED THIS BOOK!

This is the second book in the series and it was every bit as good as the first. It's a very long book but my hat's off to the author Eric Ugland for his ability to hold the attention of the listener/reader. It truly never got boring. I hope a third release comes soon!

I have enjoyed this series so much, it's hard to even write this review because I must go on to the next book. On to the next.

This series just keeps getting better and better

The narration continues to be incredible. I love Candace Thaxton's masterful ability to draw you completely into the story.

Roseland: Volume 2 is quite a story indeed. Evil, devious and complex villains. Crooked cops. Crazy cars and snark. These books are sharp. Fast paced and keep you listening. Ginger is clever and dislikes guns and violence. Rhino is a gentle giant of a man, and a former Marine. He is adorable, witty and recently out of the closet.
Yes, they like to eat diner food and are often on the run. No they don't get much downtime. Violet, the ghost is still hanging around the house, bringing an interesting mother-daughter angle into the story.
There is so much that is well done in these books. The details are well thought out. The descriptions used aren't ponderous and it's easy to imagine zipping around the city with this diverse cast of characters. As with book one, I found that on many occasions I was smiling or laughing right out loud.
The "I didn't see THAT coming", moments continue to pop up at you throughout. This one ends in a bit of a cliffhanger; not that I minded. I was happy to spend a credit for Roseland: Volume 3. It's loading and just hit ready to play status now..... gotta go!

enjoyable

I enjoyed listening to the first one and this one very much. I will definitely look forward to seeing the next Roseland volume come out so I can continue the adventure. I like that each volume closes as the MC solves a big case shes been working on throughout the volume. There are a lot of chapters but I enjoy listening to longer stories so it didn't bother me. It actually was more convenient to be able to make a stop while listening. Eric Ugland does a great job creating the plot and Candace does a great job at making the story come to life. I liked that the MC solves cases throughout the story and some help her get closer to the main case as well as helping people as she goes. I don't want to leave any spoilers so I'll leave it at that. great detective type myster thriller and easy to listen to for hours imo. Thank you

Even better than the first.

If you've listened to the first book you know what you're in for. This is an absolutely wonderful detective series with a bit of comedy thrown in with its go go go action. Im very glad I branched out and got this series. I'm normally a scifi fantasy guy but this was worth deviating for. I highly recommend this even if its not normally your thing.

I can’t get enough!

I am soooo enjoying this series. Thank you Eric Ugland and narrator Candace Thaxton for such an exciting and riveting series.

This is my second time reading this story. there were a lot of things that I missed the first time reading this volume 2. this was Amazing!

Most enjoyable!

I enjoy a lot of books on Audible but this one has to be the best. I love the banter and sarcasm between the characters. Most enjoyable during my surgery recovery!!

Fun and smart enough to keep your attention

A fun, easy listen. Smart and sassy, the heroine/ antiheroine is a unique character as are all of her many allies. Crime lords, crime stoppers, bikers and street kids to name a few. Like her, each character is interesting and the plot's pace had me eager for more at every turn. Very enjoyable.
