I am enjoying this series a lot more than I expected. I give the spicy scenes a 4/5

Max & Camille (Cami)

I think I liked this book the most (so far) in this series. The assassin & the socialite who hate being a socialite. The characters were very likable, even Cami’s dad & that’s rare where politicians are concerned. As in the earlier books of this series, I like how other series characters are included (tied in) to the current story. Of course, there was also a visit St. Monarchs which never disappoints. I purchased the audiobook and the narration was good.

Favorite Female Lead, so far

Great story, Michelle Heard is constantly evolving. This is a unique male lead but still gives the female readers what they want. The female lead is smart, genuine and a breath of fresh air.

Believable

The folks who tell the story are the best I’ve heard. They make the story more believable

the narrators tho

the males voice over when depicting his girl speaking is absolutely adorable. what a great performance

Voices are bad

Stop the male doing female voice terrible. Sounds ridiculous and takes away from the story.

Boring MCs

I couldn't get into the MCs or the Audible. The FMC, Cami, lacked substance, and the MMC, Maxim, was too controlling. I was struggling to finish, especially with the inconsistent female accent.
