Ben, his son Joel, and Ed must now face their biggest adversary yet, while at the same time struggling to come to terms with some hard truths about the post-apocalyptic world they live in, and the people they trusted.

Great read

The characters work well together- good or bad. I will recommend this book to others.

Love this series!

I really like how the characters are developed in this series. The story and its depiction of family, friends and loyalty overcoming adversity is inspiring.

overall a good story again but

Overall a good story, but there's too much repetitive political/ social commentary that seems more like the author venting than the actual character.

Stuff like, the downfall of society is government welfare and that's why people are killing each other during disaster.
The first few times set the characters outlook, but it got repetitive.
Yeah...I get the hero thinks society would be better as a libertarian utopia and not liberal socialism. That was clear and in line with the character. After the first 3 times, it seemed out of place about it.
I was asking myself when can we get back to the actual story?

Insane amount of exposition and clearly the author is a Trump supporting right wing person

I love this story, but throughout the story, the author, blames homeless people and welfare recipients for the state of the country. He also builds a hero that constantly second guesses every single decision while in the midst of battle. It ends up becoming the whiniest one man army.

Amazing series!

This whole series is a f-ing rollercoaster! You're happy things are working out, then you're stressing and praying that the dogs are ok. Author does a great job describing everything. Love it and I'm going to be furious if any of the dogs die.

It. just gets better

love how thecharacterrs evolved and the new ones you meet. The new problems are similar to the same with new dynamics.

One more excellent novel!

I have become a great fan of Mr. Bruno and Mr. Tell while reading this series. I'm impressed with both of their different talents. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to get to the next book!
