I love the series, I wait with anticipation for each book that comes out.
I do wish it would go to audible sooner.
Can’t wait for his new one to com out in September!!!

love this series

I love the main characters and I am addicted. I am enjoying there adventures on the road.

To much describing of the guns

I liked it had no use of the Lords name in vain and no sex

Another great novel!

I really liked the new characters and how they interacted with the main characters. It made for a great story line. I hope they show up in the future. I've become a big fan of Bruno Miller &Mr.Tell. (great name for a narrator!)😀

Great Story But Too Much Filler

I'm really enjoying this series and this book in particular but the author has a habit of rambling a bit too much. There are large sections where Ben is thinking about the road ahead, or their past experiences, and planning or reviewing every single detail down to the nitty gritty and it's incredibly annoying. I don't want to be mean, but it reminds me of when I used to have to write an essay in school and I'd find myself below the minimum required word count with no time left to do much about it. You know how you'd try to come up with new and creative ways to bulk up the word count a bit without adding any more actual content? (I did, at least!) Yeah, these books have a lot of that. That said, I feel like it's getting better as the series progresses. My other beef is the fact that their dogs are ornery and keep running off and getting themselves - and the rest of the group - into life threatening danger, and yet Ben, Joel, and the kids never even think about putting them on a leash.

Interesting areas traveled & experiences except Martin issues……

It got very old and repetitive with all of Ben’s on stop complaints about Martin issues….

Another example of the rumination’s of a head case

Still having a hard time believing this story based simply on the fact that the trained army ranger keeps setting himself up to fail in unbelievable ways. After everything he and his kids have been through he continues to make ridiculous mistakes and errors in judgment inconsistent with having learned from previous mistakes. Reader’s remorse in full effect

Tired of Ben's renumeration

I'm sticking with this series because I'm this far in, but I am very very sick and tired of Ben's constant thinking overthinking and the writer putting down every single thought… It's like you're trying to fill words to make another novel also I believe that someone with Ben's training would not have put up with Martin for as long as he did these are survival times and it's ridiculous the chance that he gave him… He put his family and jeopardy far too often which isn't realistic under these circumstances
