basically if you're a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and the Merc with the big mouth this is for you

Future foodie

Listening to the crew talk themselves into eating future food despite it's efficient manufacturing was fun and gross, especially since I've seen it happen to my family before in a very similar manner

Very fun series and hope it keeps going. These audiobooks are an instant buy. Hey, you, don't just glance over this review. It's not shilling.
Negative reviews make no sense on this platform at times. The MC isn't misogynistic, none of that. People throw around that world so much without actually learning what it means.
I will be real though, it hasn't yet, but like with many anime, the relationship may become haremy. The world-building is top notch, one of the few space books worth reading.

Good entertainment

The narrator is good for the most part. Takes a bit getting used to one of the characters voices he dose, but love the emotion and inflections he adds to it.
The story progress well with a different angle to the isakai genre that is refreshing. I also love the mix with sci-fi and isakai.
The MC also exercises caution to protect his crew and himself, with some character development mixed I. with some foreshadowing.
All in all, I'm loving this series and can't wait for the rest to come out.

I fully enjoyed the Sci-Fi take on a transported to another world style story. the characters are fun and enjoyable overall it's just a great entertaining piece of fluff that fills the void when you don't have much else to read. still would recommend this book in the first one enjoy

Great Sci-Fi Light Novel, BUT...

This is a great light novel for the Sci-Fi genre. It flows smoothly and is enjoyable. The only downside is in the audiobook. While the Narrator is good he does not have a broad range of voices. This series should really have dual narration. There are enough characters to warrant the second "female" narrator but Seven Seas Entertainment is really cheap in the production of the audiobooks.

A decent adventure marred by a gross jerk

The first book was a great adventure with some awesome elements, tainted by a little annoying philandering and misogynistic remarks. This one is over the top and constant. I won't be purchasing more.
