Superb!

Excellent narration! Beautiful storytelling and well researched history points. Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in history and defeated in the storyline; it was nice to see that the author didn't take her own storyteller's license here and change history so much to make the story suit her. I enjoyed this a lot! I would definitely read this as this FIRST STORY in the McGregor Saga.

As always Nora Roberts has kept me on the end of my seat. I want to read more about the MacGregors

The beginning

it was good to hear how the Macgregors came to be. How the names were handed down generation to generation. Good storyline.

The Power of Love

Love is such a powerful emotion, especially when it's unconditional. Enjoyed the characters and all of the relationships. Rena's evolution was amazing. What a gift you have Ma Roberts!

I hope she's going to do some more mini books about the macgregors from the time of Ian McGregor all the way up to present-day Daniel McGregor

So romantic...

I was hesitant about the narrator at first but grew to enjoy her very very much. Extremely talented in her portrayal of characters and accents. Then there is the story itself which is just lovely and captivating. Glad I purchased this book.

My first Macgregor book

I am looking forward to the next book. The narrator spoke in statement like sentences and not as characters would speak. The was good though.

Love in the Scottish highlands

Taking us back to the Scottish highlands where the MacGregors began Nora Robert's characters are as complex and passionate as always but the added weight of history behind them. She never fails to disappoint.
