Always Think on The Brightside

Would you listen to The Winning Hand again? Why?
YES, one of my faves in this series as it is SO uplifting.
I own all the books, but A.D. reading voice makes each of the male characters just a yummy as Nora intended them to be.

What did you like best about this story?
Our heroine is a Liberian after all, who takes a leap of faith. You have to give credit for inner strength.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her yummy male voices for this whole series is great. She brings the MacGregor to life and he is not to be missed. He is so adorable in his strong meddling ways.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
All through this story, Mac is as strong and protective as a girl could want in man! Yum

Any additional comments?
I own this series read by A.D., I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Read the storyline if you are only going to chose 1 to test then Book 1, 3, the MacGregor Grooms and Brides, the MacGregor story and this book are my top faves as they heart lifting stories.

The Winning Hand

Another MacGregor love story this time not orchestrated by Daniel all though he made his positive option known.

I love the MacGregors. with all the books being turned into movies, i always thought that the 11 books would make great movies or a tv series.

Another wonderful tale of the MacGregor's

I enjoyed the 9th book in the series. Amazing that Nora Roberts comes up with so many wonderful stories. So thankful a teacher took the time to teach me the joy of reading!

A long time favorite of mine. Darcy comes across as a naive, small midwest town innocent. Mac feels a little like the big bad wolf as he becomes more and more attracted to Darcy.

This feels like a Cinderella type story with a twist. I have always been a sucker for that. Rags to riches with a level headed woman who is ready to take charge. This story has it all and it's great.

Angela Dawe does a good job portraying the characters and narrating. I liked the her pacing was consistent with the story.
