Thank god for Troy Duran

I loved the story. Troy was as always amazing. Stephanie was so difficult to listen to I had to skip her chapters. She was whiney, screeching and over acted.

First heroine I was arguing with

At times I didn’t like Sailor, she spent a lot of time in her head going in circles and demonstrating her immaturity. After a while I was able to appreciate that Raphael wanted someone who needed him in that way, but I had a hard time with her leaving him for the reasoning she gave herself and yet saying to herself all the reasons she should have been home with Ralph without acknowledging them herself. Anyway, Eva Winners is awesome and Sailor was really believable I just wanted to yell some sense into her a lot.

Another great story in this series. Sailors torture was so hard to read but there was no doubt that Raf would find her. I am so glad her evil parents met their due. As for the narration, meh. Stephanie Kay always sounds windy to me (just my opinion) and while Troy Duran has that deep voice & is an exceptional narrator, he did have some Irish sounding pronunciations in this book, while there are not any Irish characters. I also wishes he would have used a Latin accent for Rafael, but overall well done.

Loved this one too! This series is one of my faves and all the different guys just hits differently but oh so good! Definitely recommend this!

Sadness heartache trauma and love

I wish there was more love and more of a healing between the characters. There is a whole lot of dark trauma
In this one. The overall story is good but it’s a gut punch a lot of the time.

Great story and amazing narrators

If you love Troy Duran, you know this man can deliver. This was no exception. Stephanie Kay did a great job as well.

There are instances of rape and near rape in this book. If you're sensitive, please skip this book. I can say that there are also some gratifying resolutions in the story, which I appreciate about this author.

I like that this author writes women characters who do more than survive. They're strong and capable. Terrible things can happen to anyone, regardless of strength. I also love the supportive, albeit rabidly protective men.

Definitely worth a credit.

This is the fifth book in the Belles & Mobsters series. Another amazing book from Eva Winners. This series has been absolutely amazing! Raphael met Sailor in one of his clubs when she was young. She was with Anya. Stefanie Kay and Troy Duran did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Hot mafia man and his Sailor 🥹

Wow. Wow. Wow. The way Raphael (with the help of Troy Duran😌) had me EATING OUT OF HIS HANDS!!!!! OMG!🧎🏻‍♀️Troy Durans narration was AMAZING! Even though Raphael is a big bad mafia man, his soft side for Sailor was everything! 🥹

Sailor was so passionate about her revenge plans & I felt that the narrator, Stefanie Kay, really portrayed that passion well! Loved the way she loved her son & the flashbacks she had broke my heart. 😭 after everything she had experienced she deserved a man like Raphael that could love and protect her and her son.

Performance rating applies to Female narrator ONLY

Troy Duran is one of my favorite narrators but the female narrator ruined the story. Half way through I had to skip Sailor’s chapter’s just to get through the book. Her character was very immature, which was confusing since she took on raising her sisters son. Compared to the rest of the series, this book was a disappointment
