This was a reread for me. And i absolutely enjoyed it. I knew what was going to happen, but the performance of the narrators was amazing and made me still fall in love and be shocked at what was going on.

Amon and Reina’s story is amazing, and that cliffhanger hurt as much as it did the first time i read the book. I could feel their love and earning for each other and it breaks my heart that their road to each other is still long.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Moving & Intense!

Eva Winners blows me away with another amazing novel, mafia romance like no other, and is a fantastic start to her “Stolen Empire” series. This story hooks you right in, grabs your attention, and holds it hostage the entire time. In this first book of the trilogy, we meet the two lead characters when they are young and are taken through the years with pit stops at certain periods of time, mainly when they interact again or when events occur that are meaningful to their story, up to when Reina was eighteen and Amon, our Bitter Prince, in his early twenties. A great telling of their story, and I loved watching their relationship grow and how Amon danced around her, looked out for her and kept her protected without her knowledge. The chemistry between these two was through the roof, and he knew she was it for him, and she felt the same about him. And that ending, wow, just wow, never saw that coming and talk about getting the rug pulled out from under you. I loved all the layers of this well-crafted story, and the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Besides the two lead characters there are some other key players, including her sister, Phoenix, and I loved the bond they shared and his brother Dante, but the jury is still out on how I feel about him. Eva Winners, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧Gideon Frost and Brooke Daniels did a fabulous job bringing these characters to life, humanizing them, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role. Their portrayal of the characters was spot on, with Frost nailing it as Amon and Daniels doing the same as Reina, both grasping every aspect of their character’s personality while taking them through the years, and they were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and you feeling them all. These two are a great team, with voices and talent that complements each other and a performance that elevates the already fantastic story to another level. Thank you for another amazing and entertaining listen.

Entertaining!

This is the first book in the Stolen Empire trilogy, a mafia romance. Reina and Amon's story is entertaining, intriguing, and intense, filled with secrets, lies, and twists and turns. The characters are well developed. The story is told from both POVs. The world building is captivating. The story ends with a cliffhanger. Gideon Frost and Brooke Daniels did a great job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Unforgiving Queen, the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

Bitter Prince

Bitter Prince is the first book in the Stolen Empire series. Eva Winners is one of my favorite Mafia romance authors. Her books take you for a roller coaster full of emotions. This is the start of Reina and Amon's story. I knew the cliffhanger was coming but still wasn't prepared. I can't wait to continue this series.

Brooke Daniels and Gideon Frost did a phenomenal job narrating in duet style narration!!

I've listened too alot of books I mean alot,.... lol this is my first review evvveeerrrr but I tell you what man miss Eva Winners can not write a bad book, I am obsessed with her writings I research and and study all the family lines constantly, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I cried, laughed and I got so mad but love love love every single chapter if you haven't read or listened too any of her books please give her a chance you won't be disappointed

Part 1 of 3. Character development

Slow build to the development of these two and their families. But with all of E Winners books, they are great characters set in a world of 'What, No Way!'
Narration top notch, I love how EW always chooses DEUT Narration, makes the listening experience so much better
I am glad I listened to Thorns of Silence fist as I don't think I like how Dante is portrayed in this book, but his personal demons are complicated. (Thorns of S is an all time favorite of mine)

Not enough spice. But OMG the ending! I am grabbing and starting the next book now!
