This book is magnificent—compelling characters, political intrigue, relentless action, thorny morality, stakes that matter both personally and on a sweeping scale. Highly recommend!

Excellent Story

When I got this book and started listening, there were no reviews yet. So I went in kind of blind but I’m glad I did. Honestly, I love the storyline. It never really went where I expected. It kept me guessing which was nice. The narration was also good. I really enjoy when it’s like a back and forth conversation instead of chapter by chapter but that’s just me being picky. The ending was not what I expected at all. I’m no good at explaining plots, so I won’t try, but this book is worth listening to.
