Age Gap Perfection

I always enjoy Ali’s writing but this one hit me in all the angsty yearning feels. Maya and Conor are so perfect for each other and the way they love each other is so potent in every moment of this story. Elizabeth and Eric portrayed these two beautifully for a wonderfully immersive listening experience.

Really excellent book!

I rarely write reviews on romance novels, since most don’t really stand out for me, but i just had to review this one. It’s funny and heartwarming and I loved the main characters with all their faults. Happy to have found this author.

Loved this book and the banter! The characters were great. I loved how they shared their ups and downs and made you feel all the emotions.

This was such a cute and quirky love story. Ali’s books hit every time. I’ll never not reading something she writes

The man voice actor made this

The writing was a bit choppy and the female narrator had a weird cadence that made the book a bit tough to stay focused on. The banters great and I loved the over all love story. The spicy scenes were a bit quick and under developed. That said I absolutely would crawl for the mmc voice actor. He was amazing and I wish he had more specking parts.

One of her best

Great characters. As is often the case with Ali Hazelwood’s book’s strong, smart female leads and the men aren’t dicks who growl “you’re mine” while bossing around the helpless woman . No stupid drama (ie there isn’t a major plot line where one or both of the main characters are keeping secrets only for it to come out in the end)

A cursed wedding in Italy?! Tell me more 🤣

I will start by saying that I did not know this was book number two of “Not in Love.” I must say I didn’t love the first book. But this!! LOVED IT!!!

In book one, we meet Eli and Rue. And in this book we have Maya who is Eli’s little sister and Conner, who is Eli’s best friend. This was a great age gap book that had all the feels in all the right ways. Absolutely adored Maya and her personality.

Narrators were fantastic. Loved Elizabeth Lamont as Maya. And Eric Nolan’s accent was *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏼

I loved this story, and the dual narration was amazing. my favorite Ali book by far and I cant wait to read it over and over.
