Did not like the narrator

Well, it's hard to keep up with the story due to the narration.I like the previous narrator.

Feels disconnected from the series

I'm only halfway through this one, after zipping through the series up to this one. The narrator feels robotic and not emotionally connected like the other narrators, weird musical background interludes, and possibly my biggest gripe: Scarpetta has a whole secret military background we never heard about before now, despite hearing her inner monologue for 17 books? Or did I somehow forget that important detail? This one just feels off. I'm dreading that the next book is the same narrator. 😂 I may have to listen to the rest of this one and the next on a fast speed to just power through.

Just not in style with the rest of the series.

Characters are somewhat convoluted and main character complains too much for it to be a pleasant read.

Story line was a bit much Could do without the musical intermittent musical background otherwise it was entertaining

I loved the addition of music at key moments.

I loved it all starting with the sound of the reader, the addition of music and of course the storyline with technology inserted within the story. This is one of my favorites.

Excellent narration.

Please keep this narrator! The best one so far! A bit slow at the start but a great one as always. Thanks!

I love this series

I love this series and author The story was excellent, I enjoy the narrator very much.

Not my favorite

I’ve been listening to this whole series. Did not like the narration or the weird music at the end of the chapters on this one. The story was a little all over the place. Still enjoyed but wasn’t my favorite Scarpetta book.

Dissapointed

Not one of her best! Choppy plot and too much "Drama Queen" from Scarpetta. I have enjoyed all her other books but this was not up to par.

The narrator- not a fan

I disliked the narrator; there was too much narration; very slow-moving. Too detailed/ characters were not connected. Why’s and why not’s not fully developed. Trying too hard. Did not enjoy this book at all.
