Another fascinating novel, kept me on edge with each page , never knowing what was coming next!

Won't Disappoint

I love all of Patricia Cornwell books! However, I can do without Dorothy. She needs to go back to FL and stay. Some people didn't like the ending, but it was still a great book.

Good story as always

Still one of the most descriptive authors of my time. I always feel like I am right there with the characters experiencing exactly what they are. From the textures and colors to the emotions. My only wish is that she would write two instead of one a year.

I enjoyed most everything in this story but the ending. The ending came out of left field.

Patricia Cornwell is such a talented author that she really should be called an artist instead. I loved January Lavoy as the narrator as well! Highly recommend this one for everyone into this genre!!!❤️

Good to have SCARP back!

I’m a fan of this Scarp series and characters. I can’t wait for the streaming series with Kidman & Curtis! However, if this was the only book I’d read, I’d be underwhelmed. I enjoy Cornwell but if I didn’t have my prior knowledge of the characters… this doesn’t stand on its own, well. I still enjoyed and will continue happily reading the series. I also like the way Cornwell writes, adding in feasts for our senses. I need to find the cookbook! Jamie Lee Curtis will be fun to see portraying Dorothy!!

how uvwlievably forgiving of sister.

disliked the sister immensely. she is jealous of her sister and interrupts flow of story.

the consistency is on point every time. I know these characters like family. well done!
