At first, I try to tell myself I can play his twisted games, but as time goes on, he takes over my body, my heart, and now he wants my very soul.

Nikolai Volkov is either going to be my downfall, or my savior, and I don't know which.

Excellent Book Narration

This is an excellent audiobook by S.R. Jones which is the dark mafia romance between Nikolai and Sienna. The book has well defined characters, plot twists, secrets, and steamy passion. The audiobook narrators effectively portrayed the characters’ emotions and drama in the storyline.

Marshmallow from the start

I waited for the audio on this. I like the narrators however the male narrator didn’t make me picture a bad ass mafia guy. Either way the narration was fine.

I wanted to read/listen to this book because I kept seeing an ad for it in my Facebook newsfeed about how the FMC is sleeping alone because she left him because he won’t say he loves her. she smells the MMC in the room and calls out to him in the night thinking he wasn’t there, but he answers her. Sounds super exciting in the ad ….. anyway - while that does happen-ish - it’s no where what the ad made it sound. Not nearly as Dark as the ad made it sound - really not dark at all

Sienna is pretty cool FMC - strong, trying to help her brother without drowning herself. She finds herself in a bad situation….

Could have been better

The book is good and worth the read. But better actors could have made it so much better.

Good Story but

The MMC narrator didn’t really match the character. The MFC was freaking annoying. She couldn’t accept him for who he was even with everything he was doing to save her life. I finished the book but it was difficult.

I really wanted to enjoy this

I'm just not sure on this book. they live in England. FMC is British but uses none lingo or terms used in Britain. I appreciate if you were trying americanize it. would have rathered it be more authentic to where they were located. not feeling the lead male characters voice. just didn't think it fit for the descriptions of the book.
