Dear Amy, from the moment I received your Newsletter about the release of this, your latest book, I’ve been eagerly checking Audible’s vast and varied virtual shelves impatiently waiting for it to become available as an audiobook... and YAY IT’S FINALLY HERE. And it didn’t disappoint.. in fact it may even be your best book so far.. but then again, I do say that about all your books. You write about bleeding hearts, broken promises, shattered dreams and second chances so well. Your characters have layers, your rich storylines have depth, detail and colorful descriptions and the ebb and flow of the ever-changing emotional tides means there’s never a dull moment. You woo, wound and wow me with your wonderful wordsmith abilities, you tempt and tease me with your sexy covers and you pick the perfect partnership to breath life into your stories. This second chance love story was compelling and binge-worthy listening as Mack and Izzy struggle to get over what happened in their pasts, vanquish emotional demons, seek forgiveness, learn lessons, lay new foundations and tentatively move towards their bright new future. It was heartbreaking, deeply emotional, truly romantic, tender, touching and hauntingly beautiful.

With solid likeable characters, colorful descriptions, an emotional well-paced storyline, sweet sweet secondary characters and a few flashback chapters sprinkled in to give depth, to highlight humble childhood beginnings and to reveal what went wrong. There was pain.. and heat.. and heart.. and passion.. which shone a light on sacrifice and a pure selfless love that deserved its second chance and its HEA. And, what I also truly love about your stories are the interconnecting threads linking friends and family together from your other books who all intertwine so the listener gets that ‘comfortable’ feeling of catching up with old friends you haven’t seen for a while, hearing about and celebrating in their happy anniversaries, achievements and announcements. As we all know, good narration is the vital element with audiobooks, choosing well is crucial, and you always pick the perfect pair to bring your stories to life. Andi and Jacob WERE those characters, they bled the feels, they evoked the senses and became the heart and soul of your dual POV story.

Worth a credit? Absolutely YES.. I never doubt your abilities, never hesitate with purchases and never rate your stories less than 5 star. Congratulations.. you can be one proud mom giving us this beautiful baby.

Sweet Story

I loved the narrators. Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt are two of my favorites. I liked the story but I felt like it dragged out in the middle a little too much. But it was worth the credit.

I don’t even know where to start with this one you guys! Amy is freaking amazing and only gets better with each book she writes! I love every series she has out. They pull out every single feel you can imagine and more! I want to so Mac is my favorite but man I love them all the same I think! The narration id simply perfection. I love everything about this story!

Very enjoyable

This had a nice storyline. Very enjoyable. But to be honest, Jacob Morgan and Andi Ardnt could read the phone book and I would listen for hours. Two of my favorite narrators!

Needs to be more Books with this one.

I enjoyed it! Very cute, and heart warming. But I felt like I needed to know more. What was the female character doing with her time away from MAC? Mac and his family should have there own books. I felt like they were involved enough to have so many questions. I also felt like the heated climax of the book wasn’t so powerful. Nothing ridiculously insane or had my jaw dropping. Which was fine. A great book for those who can appreciate a heart warming story about family and coming back together.

Holy heart of mine, speeding full pace ahead, while slowly being ripped in too little pieces.

His little bird and her dragon; Izzy and Mack's story, brings a turmoil amount of emotions, heartbreak, tough obstacles, and family trails, you can't stop reading it, because you need to know what happens next, will they move past their past mistakes - will he see he worth love, and will she move past the pain.
