Love this story

I always wondered about Sergei...and glad he got his story! And love Yvette! Totally recommend it! Also love seeing Daria help her brother! Loved seeing Knox too!!! And John Lane is so great with the voices..,and with Sergei he is over the top.

It had just enough of everything we like in a mafia romance without the gore and use of bad language. I’m in to the next book. Narration was great.

Absolutely Loved!

I was swept away into a world of romance like no other in this first story in the NOLA Knights Series. It kept me up to the wee hours of the morning and deservedly so as it was difficult to stop listening once I began. John Lane’s voice gave me shivers, in a good way, as I listened to him read the Russian accents throughout this story. Wow, so impressive! There was absolutely nothing I didn’t love about this book and can’t wait to listen to the next one in the series.

Nothing like an alpha brat a male who finds his Sun and she her protector
The talent to make a bratva boss lovable and able to forget he has a dark side was exhibited in this story. Loosely tied to the Men of Haven, the author provides a story of pain, discovery, love and the people who try to destroy others
Loved the story and the narrows is an incredible job with Russian and southern accents. Looking forward to more!

Loved the Russian accent 😍 but h character voice needed a little more help. Loved the action and the HEAT 🔥🔥🔥 I really had to stop whatever I was doing ... mercy! Did not disappoint! Good listen. looking forward to the next 2 📚 books. 🎊⭐🎉💗

Totally CAPTIVATING

Loved, the suave, velvelty, BLACK VELVET, deep voice of the narrator. Story line holds ones attention without effort. Where can I find such beautiful men! The dry Russian and southern humor are entertaining. The narrator's voice is enthralling with the deep voices of the Russian and other men of Haven. Done extremely well with the Russian grunt and grumble accent. OMG. The author and narrator are a perfect match for this production. Thank you both.

very entertaining

had a whole Cinderella vibe to it, and New Orleans as a setting. Evie was a hardworking single mom and Sergei was the bad ass Pahkan of the city. They were great together and Emerson, her 40 year old son in a 7 year old body just added to it. Now I am interested in other books by this author.

So happy with this one.

I am a huge fan of the Men of Haven series and was heartbroken when it came to an end. This NOLA series however is absolutely wonderful and is connected to Haven. Definitely recommend!!

Like this book I found a new author, I will listen to other books in the series
