A Good Grind

I like how much stronger everyone seems to have gotten from this one. I just hope they aren't in the same place for the next 4 books. story is still 👍

i love the new Tess

it in fact did not fall of, it in fact grew more interesting the fact that Tess has to deal with the fall out and the injury of the previous problems and injuries is so much more gripping, i all ways liked that Tess was not a power fantasy protag. so yeah this new arc is really cool and interesting so no it did not fall of

Extremely worth the credit

there were lots of side story development some interesting twists. This was one book for a lot of separate story line payoffs I could see how some people might not be enthralled by the route some things took but without spoilers all I can say is great overall sequel.

Ps: semi spoilers warning ⚠️ I loved the mental aspect of what happens she let so much pile on till the shelf that was her mind literally collapsed. A broken person making something of them self one step at a time only now knowing she can definitely make something new out of the ruins of a broken self.

Bad

I couldn't finish just lost complete interest, I understand training montarg but this was way too long.

Story fall off

Unfortunate drop off in story leading a milk toast bland book 4. Just an overall waste your time Unfortunate considering the extremely nail biting cliff hanger on book 3

please do better

the author brought us out of the world we knew and like. where there were stacks and relationships that mattered, into a dungeon where nothing mater and almost nothing happened except some leveling and a bit of character development in the last few chapters. felt like a filler book to make some fast cash. since I have read this far I will give the next book a chance but please don't fool me twice.

This could a been a training montage

While there are a few important character growth moments, this entire book effectively adds nothing to the overall greater story. If I had skipped this book, I would have missed almost nothing as far as the primary story is concerned. And it is, as far as I can tell, only 1/4 done. I really hope the next books do not repeat this one.

Again, there are some good, even great moments of character growth. But I can sum up the entire book in a single, short, paragraph, and not miss any of the important points.
