A welcome escape

Love, love, LOVED One Day in December. Was not a fan of Two Lives of Lydia Bird. Again in love with Josie Silver after listening to One Night on the Island. I truly did not want this one to end.

Wow. I love this story.

You won’t regret reading this book. It is not a typical rom-com or love story. It is way beyond that. The author is brilliant. I love every character in this book. Just read it!

So endearing

This was my first book by this author and I loved it. I wasn’t so sure about the self coupling idea but really it’s easy to get past that and enjoy the characters and the full storyline. What a beautiful story. I’m sad it’s over.

If we ignore the chaos around us and listen to our gut…

This has to be my most favorite book in the last six months. Seeing all the different ranges of ratings, it must have just been what I needed to listen to at this moment in time. A beautiful story about soul searching and finding oneself. I was absolutely blown away by this story.

Great! Pleasantly Surprised!

I ordered this book because I wanted a light read. Great story and performances by both readers. The story has more depth than I anticipated. I love that it was a happy ending but not 100% dependent on the characters ending up together. I highly recommend.

WOW!

This was an amazing story! I grew up believing we were judged by relationships. My circle was defined by the man in our lives. This young woman goes off to say the contrary, and boy, well… just listen to it! It has it all! I am sending it to my daughters! Bravo!

Brilliant

All the feels!! It is pretty rare to find a book with such complicated, textured thoughts & personalities. Some of the descriptive metaphors were so brilliant that I wish I could memorize them & have readily available to recite at will. Love this book!!!
