Excellent pacing

This is just as exciting as the first volume. Griffin Puatu’s narration is also great, as his subtle distinctions between characters are clear but not goofy.

Mooooore!!

Love this series, and the characters. My only complaint is that it’s not 20+ hours long. Injected this into my veins in less than 2 days. Looking forward to book 3 in January.

Fun characters and good story

Interesting mix of good and evil. The world is interesting and slowly unfurling. Clear that MC still has u discovered powers. Good at keeping his growth hidden. Will definitely continue listening

An actual great STORY!

An actual great STORY! Not bogged down by overly tedious cultivation techniques like so many other progression novels. Thank you NAMELESS AUTHOR!

This book took the story to a very different place than I thought it would. I'm hopefully book three will getting back to the politics and potential it had with world building and politics between factions and interactions between.

Okay I need another book now!

I was literally in awe in this book and captivated the entire time. I can’t wait for book 3 to be released!

This story got me hooked, a bit of a slow burn.

At first i didnt really understand the whole point of the secrecy, but it pays out. Alot of questions that have yet to be answered leaves me wondering how the next book is gonna turn out. Looking foward to the next book.

Great book, horrible cliff hanger

I don't particularly mind cliff hangers, I understand that you want me to desire the next book, and a good cliff hanger is an effective way to do that, but where this books leaves off is just not a great way to do it. of course I'll still be getting the next one, but please choose a better spot to end in the future lol

Ends in middle of event

The book ends in the middle of an event. Otherwise the book is very good. I don’t like the new trend of stopping the story in the middle of an event and rated the story lower for that.

the narration was amazing. the emotion and vocal pacing really kept me engaged and immersed in the story.

the story, characters and interactions felt real and fleshed out. I never once caught myself thinking that people don't talk like that, or this conversation is stupid. which was a fresh and welcome feeling. grimold and narcha...can be quite whiney at times...but I get it lol. overall this is a amazing story that has all the potential to turn out to be an amazing journey! you will not regret the credit on this gem.
