Mr. Silver is a full-length stand-alone novel (roughly 100k words). This book can absolutely be enjoyed on its own, but for the sake of flow and clarity, it’s recommended that you start with The Golden Boys (a bully romance trilogy within this series), then move on to Pretty Boy D (a friends-to-lovers stand-alone).

Do you love the frustratingly hot push and pull of a good enemies-to-lovers romance? Then you’ll love getting to know Sterling and Lexi in Mr. Silver. Expect an HEA, and there are no trigger warnings needed!

Mr. Silver is the fifth book in the Kings of Cypress Pointe series. While a standalone, Mr. Silver builds upon the events of the previous four books. I also cannot wait to see what happens in the next books as this series keeps building upon itself. Lexi and Sterling's story is emotional and unexpected. We find out the true story behind Sterling's relationship with the older woman which has been a bit of a running theme throughout the books. We also get to know Lexi more and what lies behind some of the crazy stuff she's pulled in previous books. So, while you don't need to read the first four, I recommend you do - or at least the first trilogy. From what I remember, Joss and Dane's story doesn't progress the overall story arch much - some but not much. We still don't know who Pandora is and we hear less from her but I still love how she is used to progress to story and also add a bit of intrigue. It's a unique and fun story/world-building techniques. It's also been a while since I've read the rest of this series so I wish I would have relistened to the previous books which I enjoyed as well. Overall, Mr. Silver is an unexpectedly emotional but fabulous addition to this series and if you like enemies to lovers, sass and spite I highly recommend it.

Best of the series

Fake dating, enemies to lovers, and 2nd chance romance all in one. Jake & Bridget Bordeaux did a wonderful job narrating what I think is the best book of the series.

An Enemies To Lovers Fake Dating Romance

Mr. Silver by Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne is an enemies to lovers fake dating romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Bridget Bordeaux and Jake Bordeaux. This is the fifth book in the Kings of Cypress Pointe series and can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely love Rachel and Nikki's books! I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Sterling and Lexi. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Sexy Beast so I can get Ricky and Dez's story.

Bridget and Jake did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like enemies to lovers romances, fake dating romances, or contemporary romances.
