Wowwww what a freakin shake up! Totally makes sense based on her experience but heart breaking I need the second book now

Loved the original fantasy world very different but not overly complicated. It was easy to understand the different territories and can’t wait to see what happens next

A fun, easy read that's hard to pause

This is such a fun read! Easy to get lost in! I found myself doing extra chores just so I could listen longer 😂 If I could sum this up in one sentence, it would be this...

It's The Bridge Kingdom in reverse.

The characters are flawed but intriguing. The world building was a little confusing in the beginning. I'm not sure how they were growing trees on a boat (I think that's what was happening). But once they hit land, it all made more sense. I really, really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next book!

Refreshing plot unlike some of the common fantasy romance tropes. Narration was great! I binged this in a few days.

What a Tangled Web We Weave

This book caught me off guard and left me reeling. The story building was great. The FMC is powerful and fierce. The books hits all my romantasy expectations, but the pacing is slow. I give it 4 stars because the plot twist is confusing. I will definitely be reading book 2.

Go into this one blind and you won’t regret it!! Holy Grial level romantasy!

Loved it!

The story is great and a bit different from everything I've read before. The ending actually shocked me. I didn't expect that. I only wished that the audio was in duet.

I really enjoyed this.

So the beginning was not my favorite. I just couldn't understand where the story was going in the beginning and the writing wasn't super engaging at first. Until they got to land, I wasn't really into the plot.

Not gonna lie, that plot twist broke my heart.

I hate seeing a sweet MMC taken advantage of. 🥺 She had me fooled the entire time! I was literally saying "no no no" at the end.

I must say, this will definitely make me want to read the next book.

Wow, just wow! Metal Slinger blew me away with its incredible world-building and non-stop adventure. What an INCREDIBLE debut novel! This duology has me hooked waiting for book 2.

From the very first page, I was immersed in a gritty, richly detailed universe that felt both expansive and visceral. The author does an amazing job creating a setting that’s as alive as the characters themselves.

Speaking of characters, their growth throughout the story was truly inspiring. Watching the FMC evolve, overcome impossible odds, and that betrayal....everything about this book kept me hooked and emotionally invested from start to finish that I read it in one sitting.

I have to say, that ending.... was NOT expected. The plot freaking thickens yo...such depths and tension - uggghh that was such a twist that made it very shocking and yet so satisfying.

Also the sneak peak last sentence broke me.

Umm Hello?!

What the hell was that?! I’m still processing what just happened. Speechless, jaw dropped. That cliff hanger. The preview doesn’t help either with another cliffhanger. Flabbergasted.

Despite it all, amazing story and narration! I NEED MORE. I don’t have the patience for the next story!! Next book pleeeeeeease!!

When I say I loved this one, I mean I LOVED this one. It took me a minute to get invested but let me tell you, I was hooked. And I’m here for this book and that ending 🤯🤯🤯 Wasn’t expecting what happened in the BEST way. All my romantasy loving friends need to read this ASAP.

I honestly don’t even want to say more than that to give anything away in this story. It was fun and adventurous and chef’s kiss. I am over here (im)patiently waiting for book 2!
