Disappointed

I feel I wasted a credit on this book. Reading monotone. Girl was pathetic.
No backbone. Rich guy unreal

Book was alright.

If it’s on sale, like $5 go ahead and get it. I really enjoy Nadia Lee’s books but this one wasn’t her best. It almost seemed like she cowrote it with someone else. I initially couldn’t stand the male leads voice - Nate …it sounded like Count Chocula.

As others stated a few loose ends were left hanging, it was a rush ending.

Evie & Nate

Evie & Nate have combustible chemistry, sexual tension, and angst, all paired with so much shared history that you can feel the depth of the relationship. Savannah Peachwood & Tim Paige really gave us the characters Evie & Nate to perfection. Both are remarkable bringing the characters to life. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.

Married to the boss

I loved this book and especially the audio version. The author wrote with so much humor it was hilarious.
The narrators were perfect for the story.

Didn't emotional connect

I like books that help me emotionally connect to the characters. Don't get me wrong it was a great book yet it was just missing something.

Awkward and occasionally cringy

Well yikes. Not my favorite work of hers. Takes “why didn’t you just say something?” To a whole new level.

He’s kind of a creeper who makes up things to make her come to his house every day so that he can seduce her. She has resisted admirably, until they end up in Vegas. And that is not of her own free will.

After accidental marriage he’s clinically explaining why she should have sex with him, because he doesn’t want to self serve… what woman could resist that? Refuses to get an annulment for no reason.
Very fast voice actors, if I wasn’t anxious to get it over with, I would have slowed it down a bit.
Unsatisfying ending even though it’s technically a HEA.
Too much time on extraneous details… the former roommates dog gets a chapter.
Emotional connection isn’t there until the end.
Potential partial spoiler
When we find out that an ex drugged him, and took him to a Vegas chapel to get married, but he married FMC instead, nothing happens to her when he eviscerates other characters for much less.
They don’t deal with the trauma from being drugged and impregnated without any say in the matter. It just goes from. I have no interest in my boss, do you know that we’re married and pregnant? We’re gonna stay married and everything is great.

One night in Vegas…..

This is a fun, lighthearted story with some drama.

To save her boss from a crazy woman she agrees to an auction where she wins a date with him in Vegas. They end up being married and the complications begin. Enjoy!

Marring My Billionaire Boss

My first book by Ms. Lee and I really wanted to love it but it’s barely a like. I thought I could power through the narration but both main characters voices were totally wrong! Nate sounded much older than his 30+ years and Evie sounded to naive borderline dumb at times those two together were just wrong. Too many things just didn’t make sense like how you can’t tell when you had sex especially without protection please don’t insult the reader’s intelligence ugh. I realize it’s just a rom com but in that case it should’ve been funnier & light. The one thing I did like they’re having a baby, twins one of each would’ve been better but for some odd reason authors forget that women around the world have twins & triplets. Is this book worth the credit? Sadly it a no for me sorry.
