⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ story *UPDATE*

This was a good story. It had some pretty good twists and surprises.
There were some eyeroll inducing details that were a little tough to overlook…like chopping wood shirtless in a meter of snow. Dumb stuff, I know. But those little details can take me out of the story.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and will listen to others by the authors. I wish the next book was available on Audible. I’d definitely love to listen to it.
The narration was very good. These two did a very good job. I think they’ll just get better and better with time.

Update: I’m writing this 6 hours after I wrote the above.
I can’t stop thinking about this book. I want to revisit this world and these characters. I know I will be relistening sometime in the next week or so.
I didn’t change my original review but I had to add this update. I think I have to upgrade my rating to 4.5 ⭐️ in all categories.

This is hot a lil dark and hilarious

Ok so this has a good story line. Hot spicy scenes and Literally cried laughing a couple times. Rocco is so damn funny. Pop goes Gueto!!

beautiful carnage

this was such a good book the fmc was a strong bad a$$ woman and the mmc is such a softy for the fmc the love they have for each other. the way it ended I was not suspected it was that way.

mobster beauty and the beast

a mobster romance with a decent spice. predator prey, use what you have on hand, some like it rough... not bad. female narrator could use a little more oration experience, but not bad all in all. a solid 4.5

Loved this story

If you know anything about these authors and these narrators then you already know that they are all crazy talented. This book was no different and was definitely great. Like mentioned in the blurb there is NO cliff hanger and the book ends pretty wrapped up with a cute little bow on it. Definitely a great quick listen.

Doesn’t disappoint

What a yummy book! Deliciously dark and a fun read. I love the humor that the author likes to throw in there! A great listen and the narrators are beyond amazing. The authors and narrators make such a great team! Hope to see more from this world!

Just ok....

This book has some good moments. But it also is kind of annoying at times to.. Im not a huge fan of a whiney FL Even if she had every reason to be whiney. She really didnt get a chance to be strong. The ending seems rushed, too. Not a terrible book.

This book/listen🎧is a dark mafia story with many triggers too many to name them all but if this helps it does end with a HEA. The narration was okay not a perfect fit but okay…Does anyone know if Jake B & Bridget B are related? No matter…Is it worth the credit? Yes/Si Principessa😘

Loved these narrators

This was somewhat of a slow burn but the writing was so good. The story was amazing and I loved Sloan and Rocco. I am usually not a slow burn type of reader but I really loved this book. The plot was well developed and the characters were fleshed out perfectly. I am invested in this family and I can’t wait to read more. I am very picky about my narrators but I loved these two. Having dual narration really brought the story to life.

The sisters do not disappoint!

This book was definitely inspired by Romeo and Juliet. But in the gangater/maffia world and I am here for it. I don't think you can find a bad book by the authors. They are truly amazing. Narrators were awesome as well!
