Pleasantly Surprised

Narrator wasn't bad. I enjoyed the book and now listening to book 2. I'm happy I gave it a chance.

Soft Core Zombie

Any additional comments?

Most of my favorite zombie books build tension and have a sense of impending doom. This has a little of that, the characters seem to escape danger easily. What I do really like about this series is the humor. I love the bickering between Sarah and David and the "marriage counseling / zombie survival rules" that start each chapter. "The couple that slays together, stays together". Recommend this series for a light read, maybe to break up any darker zombie books you may be reading.

Humor+Zombies=Awesome!

Who knew that the apocalypse could save your crumbling marriage? This book is hilarious and gross and I loved it. Writing is a brutal field but if success is writing a story that makes people smile and gross them out, Jesse Petersen is an MVP in my book. I know bad pun :/

Great

I found this to be very amusing. I love how each chapter starts with a phrase from the couples' counseling and how it applies to the zombie Apocalypse. It is the first book in a trilogy, followed by Flip this Zombie and Eat Slay Love.

Fun and action filled romp through zombie land

From starrt to finish, I really enjoyed this book. The dialog and action was believeable, humorous and invoked a rainbow of emotions throughout. I only wish this was a series - I would absolutely love to read more from this author. Fun and interesting - I loved it.

Could of Been 5 Stars but for Bad Audio

I loved the story. Dark but sometimes humerous. Even romance in the zombie apocalypse. It ended in a positive note and there is a promise of even more. Can't Wait!

it was cute. not a whole lot of story happening. pretty predictable. read the first, won't finish the series

Fixed file ok

Looked like I would love it, but the file won't play. I got to Chapter three and it just stops. Was good to that point...
Audible fixed it and I redownloaddd. it was pretty good.

I loved it. There are 2 other books in this series. Why are they on audible. That's what i want to know?

I got this on a whim because I had an extra credit during my account. I'm really glad I did. It's cute, well written and well, if you're married...you understand where they're coming from.
