I absolutely love this series. It gives you all the right feels. I can’t wait for the next one to come out.

Would like the story longer to develop relationship more

I like the way this author writes, and I like that the characters seem to make wise decision and the problem that develops later in the story isn’t one that stupidly breaks them up. However I would like it if the author could expand the number of pages in order to develop the characters’ relationships

This book redeems the series

This is the best book of the series and has Hagens humor and story line in top form. A couple books in this series weren't as developed or as fun as books in previous series, This one is much better. I really liked the independent female character. And Travis is a interesting man too. Believable romance.

Good Story but Lacked Some Serious Reality

This was the best of the Maxwell series but two parts were glaring and seemed to stick in my mind unfavorably. The fact that he lost Bonnie’s contact number (when his phone replaced) and couldn’t reach her was ridiculous when he knew where she worked. Secondly, the fact that she ordered 6 cribs that had to be constructed and then 4 of them disassembled and set back was just plain lame. Not a fan of blatant unreality.

I knew Travis was in for it when the last book ended. What I didn’t expect was him to be stupid in the first few chapters. Of course he lost her number but like come on Travis… You are a Maxwell. If he had put his mind to it he could have found her sooner. Just saying. I adored the way his family took Bonnie in right away while giving Travis crap at the same time. Yes, I say it all the time, but I love the way Layla Hagen writes her family relationships. It always leaves me with a warm feeling.
